The meetings of the Interstate Commission on Sustainable Development (ICSD) are held twice a year or more frequently, as decided by the Commission itself or at the request of at least three of the five ICSD member States. Meetings are hosted by the country holding the ICSD chairmanship at that time. The agenda for each meeting is prepared and coordinated by the ICSD Secretariat in collaboration with national and international partners.
During each session, ICSD Decisions are adopted and subsequently implemented by the member States that have endorsed them.
