Projects

The Scientific-Information Center of the Interstate Commission on Sustainable Development (SIC ICSD) carries out large-scale project activities in Central Asia, including Turkmenistan, aimed at supporting sustainable development and environmental protection objectives. The Center’s work is focused on advancing Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) 4, 6, 7, 11, 12, 13, 15, and 17, as well as implementing the Regional Environmental Programme for Sustainable Development in Central Asia (REP4SD) for 2020–2030.

SIC ICSD projects cover key environmental and socio-economic areas, including water resources management, climate change adaptation, renewable energy development, biodiversity conservation, and the sustainable use of natural resources. The initiatives being implemented promote regional cooperation, the exchange of best practices, and the introduction of innovative solutions to ensure environmental sustainability and the well-being of the population of Central Asia.
